This variety ‘Yakumo’, is the best variety of Snowpea in my opinion.

Snow peas; the most delicious and easy to grow pea, as you can eat the whole pod. Continuous picking, eat fresh off the vine or cook briefly.

This variety grows up to 2m high, so grow on sturdy trellis. Sow over Winter – cool climate crop, not keen in the subtropics.

Sow seeds 1cm down, water once then watch emerge, continue watering the more water/fertilizer  the more peas –  but snowpeas are not too fussy.  Left on the vine to ripen, then the seeds can be harvested for next years crop.

For most seeds (unless otherwise stated): Lightly cover and keep moist until germination – best to do in the hot before a rain event.
